Beginner Agility: No Prerequisites. This class is the first step in teaching your dog the sport of Dog agility. You and your dog work as a team. The dog will learn each of the agility obstacles. To pass this courses your dog should be able to perform the obstacles at the following minimum levels: Dog Walk (beginner height), A-Frame at least 5’3", See-Saw base set at 12" apex, Table, weave pole – channels 3" apart with wires, jumps, Tire Jump, chute closed, Pipe tunnel in "u" shape and be able to work 3 obstacles in a series.

Advanced Beginner Agility: Prerequisite pass Beginner Agility or demonstrate the skills beginner agility. This course is a continuation of the beginner agility. In this class you will work on bringing your dog up to full height on all equipment and closing the channels on the weave poles and removing the wires. We will also work on beginner handling skills. To pass this class your dog must show to be reliable off lead, be competent on all obstacles at full height, must be able to jump their regular jump height, be able to run a short course of 10 obstacles under control ( no complicated handling involved), to perform 6 weave poles straight up.

Pre Competition: Prerequisite pass Advance Beginner Agility class or demonstrate the skills to pass the Advance Beginner Agility. This class is to help prepare your team to compete in Agility. At this level you expand on your handling skills. To advance out of this class you must demonstrate to do some basic handling moves as in a front cross and a rear cross. Your dog needs to be able to do 6 weave poles without any difficulty and be working toward 12 weave poles with some minor difficulty. All obstacles are at full height and all jumps at full height. You must be able to complete a course with 15 consecutive obstacles (with some handling involved).

Novice Agility: Prerequisite pass Pre Competition Agility class or demonstrate the skills to pass the Pre Competition Agility class or competing at the Novice level. In this class you will learn handling skills to enable your team to compete at Novice level agility.

Open/Excellent: Dog must be currently competing at the open level or at excellent/elite/masters (P3) /CPE 5 levels.

Teacup Agility: Prerequisite: Dog must be reliable off leash and be able to perform all obstacles at full height. We are limiting this to small dog’s maximum height approximately 17" at the withers. This is a specialized class to help small dog handlers with their unique handling skills. You will be working on motivation, some distance handling and handling shorter spacing between obstacles.
